LOS ANGELES, Calif., August 28, 2026 — SteelPeak Sports, a division of SteelPeak Wealth focused on serving the unique needs of athletes, is proud to announce the addition of Braden Marceau-Olayinka, senior defensive lineman at Stanford University, to our family of athletes.

A native of Melrose, Massachusetts, Marceau-Olayinka reached Stanford by way of a recruitment that changed course late. He played for coach Tim Morris at Melrose High School, where he lettered in football, track and field, and wrestling, and was ranked the No. 11 player in the state by 247Sports. He committed to Columbia in July 2022, reopened his recruitment that winter, and pledged to Stanford in January 2023 before signing his letter of intent the following month. He enrolled that August and is now entering his fourth season with Stanford.

In July 2026, Braden was named one of 162 nominees nationwide for the Allstate AFCA Good Works Team, which recognizes college football players for community service and off-field impact. A psychology major, he was named to the ACC All-Academic Team in 2025. College athletes now navigate compensation, endorsement agreements, and tax questions alongside a full course load and a competitive season, and they face those decisions considerably earlier than the generation before them.

At 6-foot-3 and 310 pounds, Marceau-Olayinka has grown into a fixture on Stanford’s defensive line. He made his collegiate debut at No. 12 Oregon State in November 2023 and recorded his first tackle. He appeared in all 12 games in 2024, then played in all 12 again in 2025 with three starts, finishing with 15 tackles, seven of them solo, and a half tackle for loss against No. 9 Notre Dame in the season finale. His first collegiate start came on the road at BYU. Before Stanford, he was a three-sport standout at Melrose, totaling 76 tackles, 12.5 sacks, 32 tackles for loss, 11 pass breakups, three blocked field goals, and 97 pancakes, while also winning a state wrestling championship and qualifying for the state championship in the shot put. He wears No. 75 and enters the 2026 season as a veteran presence on the Cardinal defensive front.
